Real Estate Pre-Licensing

*All of our courses are approved by the California Department of Real Estate, as offered through correspondence study *

To obtain a real estate salesperson and/or a broker license, you must first qualify for and pass a written examination. Applicants must satisfy the mandatory educational curriculum to qualify for a written examination with the Department of Real Estate.

Salesperson Licensing Information

In order to take the real estate salesperson's license, the Department of Real Estate (DRE) requires an applicant to complete the following college-level courses:

 1. Real Estate Principles (must be completed or in progress to apply for examination and must be completed prior to applying for a license); and

2. Real Estate Practice (must be completed prior to applying for a license or within 18 months of license issuance); and

3. One course from the following list (must be completed prior to applying for a license or within 18 months of license issuance)

Broker Licensing Information
