Life and/or Fire & Casualty Agent
Continuing Education Requirements
 | Licenses are issued for a
two year period and
should be renewed prior to the expiration date listed on the license.
|
| Hours Required:
 | Complete a minimum of 25 approved credit
hours for that license type for each of the first four 12-month periods,
starting from the issuance date of the original license. If the licensee
solicits individuals for the sale of long-term care (LTC) insurance, 8
of each 25 hours must be in specially designated LTC courses. |
| Thereafter, complete 30 approved credit
hours for that license type during each two-year license period. If the
licensee solicits individuals for the sale of LTC insurance, then 8 of each
30 hours must be in specially designated LTC courses. |

How to Enroll in Our Correspondence/Home
Study CE Program
| You can either register over the phone or
in person. |
| When you register for a course, you will be
given a textbook and a final exam, which can be completed at the convenience
of your own home or at our school. |
| Upon completion of your studies, just
simply return the completed exam answer sheet and final exam for grading and
processing. |
| If you do not pass, you may retake the
course once with a different final exam, at no charge. |
| After successful completion of the course,
we will send you a certificate of completion and electronically report your CE
credits to the Department of Insurance for you. All you need to do is take
care of your renewal fee with the Department of Insurance! |
